Despite my busy(naks) schedule, I will be blogging because of this one special person in my life. He is not my boyfriend, nor is he my crush or trip (oh you get the point). But he is someone who is very close to my heart and I love this guy from the roots of his long hair down to the tip of his toes.

THE HISTORY... (what I could remember)
We've known each other since Sr. Prep and that was the first and last time we were classmates. He was a chubby little boy and I was a thin little girl. After being classmates, we went on with our lives without saying "hi" or smiling at each other. I don't even think we noticed each other back then. All I remember is that he used to be a basketball player who’s making the school and all of the people dear to him proud. I can even recall that every time I watch their games, he would always fall down and get injured or hurt. (Sorry for putting this. c:) Hmm. I can also remember that he danced "I'm So Sexy" for 6C. (Which is true up to now. c;) He also ran for GS SRCC President before and was in the S.M.I.L.E party. Luckily, he won, hehe. I only got to be in touch with him again the summer of 2003-2004 because of the SRCC. He was the responsible Bossing and I was the dakilang Media Consultant. We got to talk due to the many meetings we had and somehow made us friends. Then freshmen year came, we weren't minding each other again... Then after some time, my friends and I started watching the gigs of his band FLA where in he is the guitarist. I would support them and cheer for him, haha. We would also chat and then talk about things. Then we would text because I was bugging him to tell me who his crush was. Oh boy did he give me a hard time!;p Then we got a little close because of that. He would also tell me stories, hehe. Then one Sunday afternoon, I chatted with him and asked him questions because I was worried about.... Then he told me that there was a secret, and I wanted to know it badly because I was feeling bittersweet. I bugged him and after some time, he finally gave in. Want to know how I made him give in? Hah, he told me to treat him Skyflakes! Patay gutom talaga ;p then we got close after that. We would chat a lot and kind of talk na. Then summer came, we were both bumming around a lot, so most of the time, all we did was chat and chat. Then he asked me if I wanted to learn how to play the guitar.. blah blah.. Then we would talk about our problems and help each other out. After that, we got REALLY close. He would tell me who he admires and vise versa. He would share with me his crazy thoughts and I would tell him my nonsense kwentos. We would talk on the phone and talk about A LOT of things. Then one midnight of June, our friendship suddenly got "promoted" to being best friends. We started calling each other "bestie" then it became "bestie sexy" because he's so kapal, he said he's sexy! Nah, just kidding. This boy's really sexy :)

It wasn't the best summer I've ever had but you are seriously one of the reasons why it didn't suck. You've been there for me in the darkest hours of my life and you never left me. You were there for me through thick and thin and I will always be grateful for everything you did for me. You made me stronger and made me feel BETTER. You were the one I held on to when I was falling down the cliff. When I felt like I have no one beside me anymore.. When I felt like no one would understand me and listen to me.. When I experienced the saddest part of my life.. You were always there.. You helped me realize a lot of things and you helped me become a better person. Even though we've been through those rains, I'm still thankful that that hardship happened to us because we wouldn't be as close as we are now if it weren't because of that.

God must have seen my need for someone who could turn my failure to victory, whose touch could turn my tears to smiles, who by just being there could turn my sadness to laughter. Maybe that's why he sent you to me.

We may have not known each other really well for so long but that didn’t get in the way. He and I still became best friends and I’m so glad we are.
